Peptide Self-Injection Guide
Thank you for choosing Elevate IV for your peptide therapy. Safe and proper self-injection is essential for the best results and your overall wellbeing. Please review and follow the instructions below carefully before administering your injection.
Injection Technique
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Inspect the vial for any damage or leakage. Do not use the vial if anything appears unusual or if the vial is leaking.
Select an approved injection site. Appropriate sites include the stomach, flank, buttock or the front of the thigh.
Clean the rubber top of the vial and your chosen injection site with alcohol pads. Allow both areas to dry completely.
Hold the syringe like a pencil with the needle pointing upward.
With the cap still on, pull back the plunger to the line that matches your prescribed dose.
Insert the needle straight into the rubber top of the vial. Avoid touching the needle or allowing it to bend.
Push the air from the syringe into the vial. This prevents a vacuum from forming.
Turn the vial upside down while keeping the needle inside. Hold the vial in the air with the needle tip fully submerged in the medication.
Pull back the plunger to the line that corresponds to your prescribed number of units. For example, pull to the line marked 50 for a 50 unit dose.
Important Reminders
Refer to your provider’s instructions for exact dosing. Administer your injection on the same day each week, or the same time each day, and rotate injection sites to avoid irritation. Store the product in the refrigerator immediately after use and do not freeze it.
For weekly injections, if you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is close to your next scheduled dose (within two days), skip the missed dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
